Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. She is an Afghan American actress from Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved towards the US. They were granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Her sister in law took care of her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada's role as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a film festival. Her TV guest-starring performances include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the science fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. Season 2 of General Hospital called Night Shift Ghanizada was the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada joined HBO Entourage's team in 2009, playing Kelly.
